About Tara

Photographer, Filmmaker, Energy Worker, Adventurer these are some of the things that make up Tara Roberts.

Tara Roberts - film maker, energy worker, adventurer, Tara is currently working as a freelance photographer and videographer covering sailing, cycling and other events. She also works closely with businesses to create media and advertising content. Some of her more adventurous jobs have taken her to the wilderness of Alaska, following bicycles across the United States, filming sailboats in the Caribbean, and filming educational videos for the Appalachian Trail.

Energy SOCK-ettes is a clothing company designed to bring knowledge of energy medicine and natural healing to a greater audience. Tara started Energy SOCK-ettes with her mom in 2014. The company continues to grow introducing new products each year.

In 2005 Tara graduated from Shepherd University in Shepherdstown, WV with a degree in Mass Communications and a Minor in Photography. Within days of completing her final exams she moved to Park City, Utah to live the life of a ski bum. Since then she has moved around the country pursuing her photography and video passion.

Tara’s Film accomplishments include Best Student Film at the American Conservation Film Festival (2005), Best Documentary at Sports Movie Film Festival (2009), Honorable Mention, Cut 2 the Chase Short Film Festival (2013).
